Marriage and Mt. Rainier

I was a guest at a wedding in Graham, Washington today.

It was nice being a guest.

I wasn’t worried about where I had to be next or stressed about lighting. I was there to listen, to eat a bit of food and to congratulate the newly married couple. It was rather refreshing.

I did however take the opportunity to test out my used zoom lens. Despite being near the rear of the hall, I was able to get a fairly close picture of the bride and groom.

I also enjoyed meeting Tacey of Laughing Willow Photography. She said: “I heard The Awkward Photographer was going to be here!” That made me laugh. :)

The drive to and from the wedding location was calming. I had many opportunities to glance at Mt. Rainier. I love the profile.
