DIY Studio {Callie}

This evening, my friend Callie answered my call for a warm body to help me test out some lighting techniques and a studio setup that I pieced together.

Callie is one of the few people that I think really rocks glasses. I just love them on her!

 

Here’s a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the glamorous (ha!) setup.

The ‘Studio’ Setup

The lighting involved a lot of trial and error and nearly-blinding moments. I used two clip on lights (60w/100w). I found one in the garage and one at Fred Meyer in the lighting section. I loosely followed a diagram in a lighting technique book that I found at the library.

I think I’ve got some good ideas to use this weekend during the first Photography Playdate session.
