Caleb and Heather were married on an absolutely perfect Saturday in February. They were both fairly relaxed during the time I spent with them and obviously very happy!
I enjoyed seeing many of my friends (and even some family) at this wedding, as well as the awesome moves on the dance floor.
My second-shooter, Cassie Kean of CLK Photography, captured some great shots. Make sure to visit her blog to see them! You can also follow her on Facebook. Her hubby was the DJ. That’s what I call keeping it in the family. :)
Awkward Moments
- Groomsman stepping in dog poo during the formal pictures.
- Corsages that wouldn’t stay on.
- Shooting my first event that my immediate family attended.
- Dealing with a microphone in the way of the perfect kissing picture. :(
- Getting a 5-Hour Energy on the way to the reception and running into the bride and groom at the gas station.
- Hairspray on my camera.
- Running out of daylight for family pictures after the ceremony.
- Jumping on the dance floor to ‘I like to move it’ with Cassie (actually, this wasn’t awkward so much as fun).
- Constantly switching my heels for my flats and vice versa.
Congratulations Heather and Caleb! I look forward to hanging out with you (it’s great that you live so close by!) and making s’mores. :)

These are so beautiful! I love the one where Caleb has the microphone and Heather is looking right at you. I can't figure out how you got that shot, but it is amazing.
Neva: That shot that you are talking about was entirely accidental. I've never had a bride look at me during the ceremony but I absolutely love that Heather did... and how the pic turned out. Thanks for your comment!
