I had a fun time Saturday night hanging out on a couch at the Black Diamond Pizza and Deli. Great pizza, and awesome entertainment provided by Passenger Side, aka: Dustin and Brandon.
I asked Elli, Brandon’s wife, how she would describe their music. She said “Acoustic, folk, rock. Jack Johnson-esque, jayhawks (if they know who that is) with flares of old country and mandolin.”
The majority of the songs they play are originals, but they do a few awesome covers as well (including one of my personal faves - “Sweet and Low” by Augustana).
Good tunes. Good food. Great weekend.
