Protect the Camera… At All Costs!

I was reviewing some of the pictures taken on my Franklin Falls hike with friends and stumbled (ha, ha… no pun intended) upon a picture that Gabby took that cracked me up.

It demonstrates what was running through my head that day as we trekked through the woods on an icy path.

I knew I was going to fall. I knew that it could possibly be when I was holding my camera. So, I told myself: “Protect the camera. Your body can be fixed. The camera can’t.”

While that might not be the most sane reasoning, it did help me avoid a camera casualty.

Above: I’m saying “Look, I saved the camera!”

So, go forth.

Be adventurous.

And by all means, “Protect the camera!”
