Vintage hats and attitude: that’s what made this photography playdate memorable… well, along with lots of candy, witnessing an arrest, catcalls from people driving by and a neat location.
The theme of this photography playdate was Time Warp. I wanted to get a model to represent each decade. However, due to illness and other circumstances, things didn’t go quite as I expected. But, Callie, Devan and Gabby were wonderfully flexible and patient.
Side note: We weren’t going for historical accuracy, but we did our best.
We spent some time at a retired train depot in Issaquah, Washington, where many passersby gawked. I found it rather entertaining.

Fun! But which decades are the ladies representing in their individual shoots?
Callie (the blonde) was rockin' the 1950s.
Gabby (the redhead) was decked out in her 1940s finery.
Devan (the brunette) multi-tasked by representing the 1930s (with the blue shirt), 1960s (with her mod dress) and 1970s (with her cord vest and headband).
