Boy Meets Girl. {Ian & Sada}

Today, I had the opportunity to meet a sweet couple who didn’t mind that I started off the session asking them to do a bit of coloring.

Despite the chilly and wet weather, we wandered the docks at Coulon Park and toured downtown Renton, Washington looking for a wall that I had mentally noted (although I couldn’t remember exactly where).

In one more week, I’ll be taking more pictures of Ian and Sada at their wedding. Can’t wait!

{Announcing} 10 comments or more on this blog post will earn this couple a special gift. Please share the love!

100 Faces + The Sights of Portland

Devan (of Mad Cap Photography) and I spent our day in downtown Portland, looking for people willing to have their picture taken. We will be posting all of our pictures on a collaborative blog (click to view), but here are a few of my favorites from my camera.

This was a neat experience. I’m not sure when I will do it again, since it was rather exhausting, but it was a satisfying challenge – artistically and personally.

Awkward Moments

Suffice to say, the whole day was fairly awkward, but we’ll fondly remember a few experiences.

  • Waking up an hour later than we anticipated.
  • Getting lost before we got to our first destination.
  • Mixing several exits due to GPS difficulties.
  • Searching in vain for a public bathroom.
  • Trying to explain exactly what we were doing… and then having to explain again because it didn’t make sense the first time.
  • Hesitantly jaywalking.
