I spent the last week in San Francisco for a work conference. I brought my camera along, as usual.

You’ll probably recognize these faces (from a ‘surprise’ announcement shoot and family session in recent history). These are a few of my favorite people.
I’m happy to share some pictures from my time this afternoon with Neva, Emma and Micah (in addition to Claire… who isn’t very photogenic yet). There are a few guest appearances from Ginger The Cat, a frog, a teddy bear and a goat.
I don’t have many friends that would allow me to experiment with so many different photo ideas. But, Neva and her kids are up for it (assuming I bring along some candy).

Above, Left: That’s Emma and baby Claire. Those red dots on Emma are earrings, since she is going to be getting her ears pierced when she’s 6 (around the same time as Claire is expected to arrive).
Above: Whoops. Those are my feet (along with a few mushrooms). How did they slip in here?
Neva: Thank you for being my friend, for letting me paint your belly, for getting into a bathtub with clothes on and coating yourself with bubbles (sorry, no pics of that here), for allowing me to bribe your children with candy and toys. I love you. Always.
Oh, and have fun cleaning that green paint out of your belly button. Eww.
